About
A small shop for a large TBR
Long series punish first-time readers. Prequels spoil. Novellas look skippable. “Complete” lists quietly include picture books and RPG extras. This site exists to put the path on the counter.
What we publish
Reading-order guides and short “what to read next” notes for science fiction, fantasy, mystery, and romance series that still confuse people. Publication order first. Chronology when it diverges. We do not retell novels or quote copyrighted prose.
Editorial rules
- Facts over flavor. Titles, years, and “this story sits before that novel” need a source. Author and publisher pages beat fandom wikis.
- No scraped blurbs. If a retailer description spoils, we say so without repeating the spoiler.
- Drafts stay labeled. Work in progress ships as
status: draftuntil titles, dates, and flags are checked. Published guides on this site are markedreviewed. - Next-reads are arguments. Each suggestion needs a reason — voice, structure, aftercare — not a star average.
- No fake reviews. No invented quotations, Goodreads voices, or tears on a page number.
The full sourcing method is on the methodology page. Dates on each guide are the last time we opened the listed sources.
Who this is not for
If you want recaps, leaked manuscripts, or a course on “book blogs that print money,” this is the wrong shop. High-search series are in scope when the order is still contested — including Tolkien, Harry Potter, and other paths people start on the wrong book. The full catalog is grouped by shelf.

The books channel and this reading-order site are the same shop: same name, same shelves. Videos live on YouTube. The maps live here.
