Where to start Bobiverse
Start Bobiverse with We Are Legion (We Are Bob). Publication order only. Heaven’s River is later, not book one. Books four and five are sequels, not a new series.

We Are Legion (We Are Bob)
It is book one (2016). The later books are the same experiment after it has already multiplied. Do not start with Heaven’s River because it is thicker.
Publication order is the only path
Bobiverse is one continuous argument: a man becomes many probes, and the many keep talking to each other. There is no chronological prequel hiding in the middle of the list.
The first three novels were written as a complete trip. Books four and five continue the same voices. They are not a new series with a new book one.
What is not an on-ramp
Heaven’s River is later and longer. It assumes the copies already exist. The announced sixth book is not an excuse to wait, and it is not hiding as book one.
