Triptych is Will Trent book one; you can open it cold. Undone (UK: Genesis) is the crossover. Read the Grant County six first if you do not want Sara’s earlier series spent in advance.
Two streets, one spoiler line
Grant County is Sara Linton in Heartsdale: Blindsighted through Beyond Reach (UK: Skin Privilege). Will Trent is Atlanta GBI: Triptych, Fractured, then Undone.
The first two Will Trent novels do not require Grant County. The third does, if you care about the earlier ending. Undone is also sold as Genesis. Same book. Do not buy both.
The TV show is a cousin. It is not a reason to skip Grant County if you want Sara’s first life intact.
If you want both
Grant County 1–6, then Will Trent from Triptych. That is the clean map.
If you came from the show: Triptych and Fractured, then the Grant County six before Undone/Genesis.
You can open Undone cold. You will pay a tax the earlier six were designed to collect.
